Agnieszka Srokosz

Srokosz is both a painter and a poster artist, illustrator, graphic artist and designer. She is also an academic, having worked as a lecturer in drawing and painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey for ten years (until 2018). She is currently teaching at the Faculty of Architecture, Engineering and Art of the Sopot Academy of Applied Sciences.
She was born in Częstochowa. In 2001, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She has had over thirty solo exhibitions and twice as many group exhibitions. She has twice received scholarships from the Minister of Culture and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. Winner of numerous art competitions, including the first prize in the Fiction Book category at the 6th International Illustration Festival BookILL fest in Serbia (2017). Lives and works in Gdynia.
